In our EVEREST 4.0 Memory benchmarks, we noticed no significant performance increase for DDR3 in the write and copy subtests. Read performance had an approximate 600 point lead; but it seems that the potential and bandwidth of DDR3 isn't necessarily taken advantage of by the memory controller and CPU.
