There is such a wide range of CPU coolers offering so many different features and at different price points that it can be truly overwhelming to figure out which one is the best choice for your build. If you are looking for pure performance without fancy LEDs, it limits the choice by a lot, since many all-in-one water coolers have RGB capabilities for quite a while now. But only recently has the newer range of coolers been equipped with ARGB. The Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L V2 RGB has ARGB at an affordable price, bringing quite a balance to the usually out of reach ARGB components. Usually, ARGB coolers require a compatible motherboard as well, but Cooler Master has provided an RGB controller to give some control over the LEDs to the masses. Furthermore, Cooler Master has built the cooler well and provided some great fans. The two 120 mm Sickleflow fans are quiet and do their job well. Now, the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L V2 RGB did not perform as well, albeit still decent, as some of the other coolers we have tested it against, particularly the Fractal Design Celsius S24 and XPG Levante 240, but get this -- the MasterLiquid ML240L V2 RGB comes in at only $80 USD at press time. This is not to mention it is quite quiet, too. For everything that Cooler Master offers, which is decent cooling performance, ARGB fans, included ARGB controller, and quiet operation, this is an excellent price. Most ARGB coolers are much more expensive. You are sacrificing some cooling performance, but the price and features is simply hard to beat.
