Although the Cooler Master Nepton 240M may have a slightly smaller radiator than its the Nepton 280L, we can see from the results on the previous page that it can hold its ground very well. Tested with the Intel Core i7-4770K processor that does not exactly run cool, the Cooler Master Nepton 240M does a fine job at keeping it running without breaking a sweat, while working hard to get work done at the same time. For those that have a setup with limited space, the Nepton 240M should be definitely considered during your build process. On top of its performance characteristics of a water cooler, it features simple, maintenance free virtues of a traditional air cooler, and clean, slick looks. When placed in a case with a window, the Cooler Master Nepton 240M will sure impress, especially when LED lights are featured. Its relatively low noise is definitely a plus, especially for those silent PC enthusiasts. Its metal backplate and screw clips make the installation process straightforward, especially with the screws integrated along with the brackets on the water block. However, a minor complaint is that there is some stiffness from the tubes, especially for tighter configurations, but this should not be a problem in most cases anyway. Other than this minor complaint, I have nothing else to make a case against, but to compliment it for its great features and performance. If you are considering an upgrade or simply a new system build, the Cooler Master Nepton 240M is definitely an item you want to keep at the back of your mind while shopping around. For about $130 at press time, it certainly does not come cheap, but there is always a price for performance.
