About HD Tune Pro 5.70

HD Tune Pro is a hard disk / SSD utility with many functions. It can be used to measure the drive's performance, scan for errors, check the health status (S.M.A.R.T.), securely erase all data and much more.

Unfortunately, HD Tune does not generate any fancy independent graph outputs, so I just took a screenshot of the program. Looking at the graph, we can see the Corsair MP600 Core XT 2TB was pretty much flat the whole way. The access time was decent at 0.016ms. The average sequential read of 2750.3MB/s was quite decent as well, surpassing the XPG Atom 50 1TB at 2654.3MB/s and Crucial P5 Plus 1TB at 2018.0MB/s, both of these being budget drives. The MP600 Core XT 2TB was also faster than the WD_BLACK SN850 NVMe SSD 1TB, Gammix S70 Blade 1TB, and the Kingston KC3000 1TB, which scored 2366.0MB/s, 2662.4MB/s, and 2581.8MB/s respectively. However, it did not score as high as the Crucial P3 Plus 4TB, which posted 2854.9MB/s. With all that said, HD Tune is not the most representative test for solid state drives.
