It is interesting how things can change in just a few years. In 2021, I went on my first friends’ trip to Vancouver, which was a fun experience. Up until that point in my life, I had only ever traveled with family. However, I found the biggest change when traveling with friends was the freedom of choice. This included the bigger items like our day-to-day activities to small decisions like when to wake up or go to sleep. Fast forward to this year, I recently traveled with these same friends to a much further place, Japan. Looking back, I might not have expected this leap from a simple Vancouver summer getaway. However, I have since gone on many trips between then and now without my family, so it is quite a bit more comfortable for me. Similarly, I started my full-time working career in 2021. Gradually, I have taken on bigger projects with more responsibilities. Once again, it has been a notable shift from my start to where I am now. This brings us to today's review of the Creative Outlier Pro, which in a way, is a successor to the Creative Outlier Air and Creative Outlier Air V2. We have already seen the progression from the initial Outlier Air to the second rendition with the addition of touch controls. How does the Creative Outlier Pro further improve on its predecessors? Read on to find out!
Today’s unit of the Creative Outlier Pro arrived from a logistics firm in Lachine, Quebec, Canada. Traveling with Kerry Express, the brown box arrived in great condition with no scratches or tears to us here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Along with the Creative Outlier Pro, we also received the Creative Live! Cam Sync 4K, which had been reviewed by my colleague Jonathan Kwan.
The Creative Outlier Pro retail box is almost the same as the original Outlier Air and Outlier Air V2. The Outlier Pro has the same white and orange look. A scaled-up version of the Outlier Pro earphones with the carrying case can be seen. The company logo can be found on the top left corner, while the product name can be found under the front image. A description of "True Wireless Sweatproof In-Ears with Active Noise Cancellation” describes the added feature of active noise cancelling to these earphones. At the top right, we have a label that reads “Super X-Fi Ready”. Around the box, we have some notable features as well as a description of the box contents.
