HD Tune Pro is a hard disk / SSD utility with many functions. It can be used to measure the drive's performance, scan for errors, check the health status (S.M.A.R.T.), securely erase all data and much more.

Unfortunately, HD Tune does not generate any fancy independent graph outputs in particular, so I just took a screenshot of the program. The Crucial P510 1TB's throughput remained very flat on average. While HD Tune is more of a drag race than a clear indication of real-life performance, it is an excellent storage performance reference among SSDs with the same controller. The results were good across the range and the recorded access time was low, as we would expect from a solid state drive.
The Crucial P510 1TB posted an average of 1728.8/s for its sequential read speed, which is significantly slower compared to other mainstream PCIe 4.0-based drives. The P310 2280 1TB delivered 2602.4MB/s and the T500 2TB came in at 2230.2MB/s. At the end of the day, HD Tune may not be the best test for solid state drives all the time, but these results are always interesting to look at.
