DeepCool Mystique 360 Review (Page 4 of 4)

Page 4 - Conclusion

The DeepCool Mystique 360 may feature a high resolution 2.8" screen on top of its CPU water block, but there are many other factors that make it a strong contender. For one, it includes many conventional aspects that are standard for most closed-loop AIO coolers. This includes a typical CPU pump combination block with expected material choices like copper on the block and aluminum on the radiator. Its braided rubber tubing is both flexible and lengthy. On top of the radiator are three DeepCool FT120 SE fans with a three-in-one connector for easier cable management. The real highlight is obviously the screen, which provides users with real-time monitoring information or custom images to display whatever they want. There is also lighting on the sides of the block that can integrate with this screen for an ambient effect. Additionally, DeepCool's software utility is convenient and offers numerous options for customizing how the screen is used. With respect to installation, we have a straightforward process. Turning to performance, there is no doubt that the DeepCool Mystique 360 can effectively keep your processor cool, as it matched the top results we have seen. However, our testing also highlighted the noise output as a major area for improvement. Not only are the fans on the louder side, but the clicking and scratching sounds of the pump are particularly frustrating to deal with. Furthermore, I wish DeepCool would provide a separate tube of thermal paste. This allows users to apply only what is necessary over multiple installations. At the time of the review, the DeepCool Mystique 360 is available for $180, which, while pricey, is comparable to other coolers with screens. In conclusion, there is no denying that the DeepCool Mystique 360 is capable, but some refinements are necessary, particularly in terms of noise, to make it a more convincing product.
