PCMark 10 is the latest version of the popular full system benchmark from UL. The standard benchmark runs tests on three separate categories and assigns the scores for those categories along with an overall score. Interesting insights can be taken from this benchmarking software as the tests aim to emulate real-life conditions as best as possible. Similar to the Thermaltake TOUGHRAM XG RGB DDR4-4000 2x8GB, the higher operating frequency made a larger difference with these real-life simulations. The Patriot Viper Elite II DDR4-4000 2x8GB outperformed the DDR4-3600 memory kits in most of the benchmarks, although it fell behind the TOUGHRAM XG RGB in all the tests. The differences in scores were most noticeable in the Essentials test, where the Viper Elite II took a strong lead over the two DDR4-3600 memory sets.
