About AIDA64 Engineer
AIDA64 Engineer has a hardware detection engine unrivaled in its class. It provides detailed information about installed software and offers diagnostic functions and support for overclocking. As it is monitoring sensors in real time, it can gather accurate voltage, temperature and fan speed readings, while its diagnostic functions help detect and prevent hardware issues. It also offers a couple of benchmarks for measuring the performance of individual hardware components or the whole system. It is compatible with all 32-bit and 64-bit Windows editions, including Windows 10 and Windows Server 2019.

As seen in other memory reviews, floating-point unit benchmarking is usually not the most exciting set of tests to run. This is because these tests are mostly dependent on the test system's processor, so parameters such as RAM latencies or clock speed ultimately do not make a huge difference. This is further proved by the results, where the four memory sets had very little differences in scores. Like the CPU tests, the Patriot Viper Elite II DDR4-4000 2x8GB scored mostly in the middle or back of the pack. It is important to note the difference here is essentially negligible. It is unfair to make a strong evaluation of the Viper Elite ll based on these benchmark results alone, so let us move on to the more relevant memory tests.
