Like UL's PCMark 10 benchmarking suite, 3DMark is yet another favorite among enthusiasts and reviewers alike. In fact, it has been part of the APH Networks' battery of standard benchmarks since the very beginning. The latest iteration of 3DMark is available in a series of presets. We included Fire Strike Extreme, Sky Diver, Cloud Gate, and Ice Storm Extreme; each in decreasing order of GPU dependency for our RAM tests. To give our test platform a little more comprehensive results, I enabled the Extreme option in our tests where possible. As you can see in our graphs above, the Patriot Viper Steel RGB DDR4-3200 2x16GB remained generally consistent with the pack. It came in first in the Fire Strike Extreme test by a few points, but also ended in last place by varying margins in the rest.
