Crystal Disk Mark 3.0 is in the spotlight. Just a bit of background information; higher capacity drives tend to perform a little better in these tests. Although the SanDisk Ultra Plus 256GB did not post earth shattering numbers in any of the results, it still remained reasonably competitive against our large array of high performance solid state drives from various manufacturers. In this particular benchmark, the ability of a controller and flash memory to deliver high IOPS will provide huge benefits to the score. The Ultra Plus, to some extent, bucks the SandForce performance signature, which is pretty interesting -- you can read and compare our results above.
