One thing I have wanted to do more this year is baking and making new things. This is not necessarily because they are hard to do, but I have been baking the same thing for the past while. For example, this year, I have made blueberry hand pies, a cream cheese bundt cake, and chocolate chip blondies. Once again, they are not technically hard to do, but I have wanted to try different flavors and ingredients. Whenever I do so, I usually look for a recipe online, make sure I have the ingredients necessary, and then just do it out. I usually follow the recipes to a tee, even though I know most online recipes are often too sweet. Some people know how to adjust recipes for their taste without worrying about affecting the texture, but I usually only adjust on my second attempt. Otherwise, there are a few things next on my list. For one, I want to try a rolled cake on my own. This means making a good cream filling and a sturdy but light enough cake to roll up. However, the next thing I really want to make is 饅頭 or mantou, which is a Chinese steamed bun. This is primarily because my girlfriend loves it. It has a soft and chewy texture that is a bit more dense than regular bread. It is also best enjoyed straight from the steamer, although you can warm it up after the fact. However, I also want to do it because it would be the first time I have ever cooked with steam. In a similar fashion, SilverStone today has a new lineup of all-in-one liquid coolers in the form of the IceMyst series. Unlike me with my next baking quests, SilverStone is quite familiar with cooling in general, and this AIO is yet another option from their lineup. With the 360mm variant in our hands today, will we see original ideas or will it show advancements from previous coolers? Let us read on to find out!
Today's review unit of the SilverStone IceMyst 360 arrived from SilverStone's offices in Chino, California, USA. Shipping with FedEx and their International Ground service, this box arrived in relatively good condition to our APH Networks offices here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. There were no notable bumps or bruises for me to be concerned about the contents inside the box. Otherwise, in addition to the IceMyst 360, SilverStone sent us two sets of IMF70-ARGB fans, which are to be used with the IceMyst 360. We will look at these later in the review. We also received a SilverStone DA850R Gold 850W, which was reviewed by my colleague Jonathan Kwan earlier this year.
One thing that you can see with all of these SilverStone products is the unified theme in terms of their box design. This is especially true when it comes to their colors. SilverStone is employing a dark blue and white theme. For the IceMyst 360, we have the physical product displayed on the left side, including the three fans and the CPU block and pump combination. The product name can be found on the right side with the description "Premium All-In-One Liquid Cooler with ARGB lighting". Underneath, you can see multiple logos to show the support for different motherboard implementations of addressable lighting, including ASRock, ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, and Biostar. Around the side and the back, we have some features and specifications of the cooler itself.

Once you open the box, everything is found in a large cardboard interior. All of the components are packaged within plastic bags with the radiator in another cardboard sleeve for further protection. Three 120mm fans are included with their own plastic bags. All of the other accessories can be found in their own bags. The first bag has an addressable RGB LED controller and its related cables. Another bag holds the rest of the mounting equipment, necessary wires, and screws. From the specifications, you can see the SilverStone IceMyst 360 can be mounted on most modern desktop chipsets, including Intel's LGA 115X/1200/1700/2011/2066 and AMD's AM5/AM4. A small tube of thermal grease can be found for multiple installations as you need. Finally, two manuals are provided for installation procedures and the included ARGB lighting controller. One more sheet shows the warranty provided with the IceMyst 360. Even though this sheet says one year, this is actually referring to their standard warranty. Specifically for the IceMyst lineup, SilverStone covers this for three years, which is pretty good.
