About ATTO Disk Benchmark
The ATTO Disk Benchmark performance measurement tool is compatible with Microsoft Windows. Measure your storage systems performance with various transfer sizes and test lengths for reads and writes. Several options are available to customize your performance measurement including queue depth, overlapped I/O and even a comparison mode with the option to run continuously. Use ATTO Disk Benchmark to test any manufacturers RAID controllers, storage controllers, host adapters, hard drives and SSD drives and notice that ATTO products will consistently provide the highest level of performance to your storage.

Following up next is our usual ATTO read and write tests. ATTO is an often-quoted benchmark, because it is easy to use and accurate. For the most part, it is a favorite among reviewers and I have grown to embrace it as much as the next for the last little while. By varying the file transfer size, you can visually see how each product performs across the curve. In the Read section, the Western Digital Red Pro WD141KFGX 14TB performed exceptionally; taking home the crown in the fastest peak read and write speeds ever recorded here at APH Networks. Its ramp up speed profile was slightly slower than the Seagate IronWolf Pro ST14000NE0008 14TB up to 4K though. The WD141KFGX reached close to peak rate at 4K and above, which was quite quick. Its peak read rate came in at 278.247MB/s, which was ahead of the IronWolf Pro 14TB at 255.652MB/s. In the Write section, it also reached its peak rate at 4K and above. With a top write speed of 280.189MB/s, this, again, was incredible; ahead of the IronWolf Pro 14TB at 258.732MB/s. It still could not beat the WD Red Pro 6TB and Black 6TB in ramp up speed though.
