YUNZII B87 Review

As I have talked about in the HYTE X50 introduction, I finally ran the scavenger hunt at the end of May. As part of the theme, I told the participants they were working as contractors for the university to capture pictures around the campus to create recruiting material. As such, I thought it was only natural if I would use their photos taken and created recruitment material. While I was putting everything together, I wanted the result to look legitimate without being too official. The first thing I did was draw the university mascot next to the "U of C" letters. I created a bunch of pages for all the different photos. However, they were all placed on top of a white background, and it looked a bit plain. Thankfully, the university publishes branding guidelines for their published material, and I was able to get the exact color hex codes to make a background. I would have been acceptable without getting exactly the right shades, but I was still grateful for the information. It is interesting to see how colors impact the overall appearance. Today, we have a keyboard from another company in the YUNZII B87. This keyboard comes advertised as the "cutest mechanical keyboard," and it is available in multiple color options. Is this keyboard truly the cutest keyboard around? How do the different hues affect this claim? Let us read on to find out!

Today's review unit of the YUNZII B87 arrived from their offices in Shenzhen, China. Traveling to our APH Networks location in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, this was transported by Yun Express. It was packaged in multiple layers of bubble wrap and enclosed in a large white plastic mailing envelope. This should help with protecting the box inside and it did its job. The plastic mailer does have a few bumps and scratches, but nothing too concerning.

With all shipping material removed, we have the retail container of the YUNZII B87 on full display. A color-matching sleeve is on the front with a picture of the keyboard inside. As you can see, we have the Purple Heart variant, but there are multiple colors for the YUNZII B87, including pink, brown, blue, white, and matcha green. It seems like there are also non-heart pink, blue, purple, and beige options too. Back to the retail box, the sleeve has the YUNZII logo at the top, with the product name underneath. On the back, there is other information and specifications.

Before we continue, I have grabbed the specifications from the manufacturer's website, for your reading pleasure:
