Designed for on-the-go professionals
ASUS Chromebook CX9 offers a sophisticated, tough design and posh portability for expanding the possibilities of remote work. Made of aluminum alloy using a high-precision CNC manufacturing process, its 2.31 lb[i], 16.0 mm-thin[ii] chassis is strong, flexible and lightweight. For the durability to take it anywhere, ASUS Chromebook CX9 has structural reinforcements to boost chassis strength, and it meets next-level, industry-leading US MIL-STD 810H standards that are more rigorous and demanding than ever before. It also undergoes stringent in-house testing — including panel-pressure, shock and drop tests — to ensure maximal toughness. All-day 14-hour[iii] battery life on a single charge means ASUS Chromebook CX9 is always ready for a full business day or long-haul flight, and Panel Self-Refresh technology adds further energy efficiency to enhance battery life.

Performance and ergonomics for productivity
Powered by up to the latest 11th Generation Intel Core i7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, ASUS Chromebook CX9 delivers performance and responsiveness to empower users with incredible productivity, and Intel Evo™ verification7 ensures exceptional user experiences from anywhere. Also, a spacious 512 GB PCIe® M.2 SSD offers fast-access storage, and the laptop comes with 16 GB of LPDDR4X memory.

ASUS Chromebook CX9 is the first Chromebook to feature ASUS NumberPad, an LED-illuminated numeric keypad designed for crunching numbers. It can be turned on and off easily, and special software allows the cursor to be used while NumberPad is active. The laptop further maximizes productivity with excellent ergonomics — an ErgoLift hinge automatically tilts the keyboard to the most comfortable typing position, and widely spaced, long-travel keys provide responsive, tactile feedback to enhance typing experiences. Backlighting enables effortless typing in any environment, and built-in spill resistance[iv] lets the keyboard to cope with up to 66 cc of liquid. ASUS Chromebook CX9 also supports ASUS Pen and the latest Universal Stylus Initiative (USI) 1.0 standard to provide a precise, natural-feeling active stylus experience for unleashing creativity.[v]

[iii] Based on Chromium OS power Load Test. The 1214-hour use on a single charge was determined by looping local video playback at higher than 80 nits and at the default display brightness level. Battery performance is based on a mix of standby, web browsing and other use. Charging time requires the battery to be at least 5% charged, with the device inactive and using the included charger. Actual battery life depends on usage, specifications, applications and environment, among other factors.
[iv] ASUS Chromebook CX9 keyboard is spill-resistant, not waterproof. Water damage is possible if the product is submerged or exposed to large amounts of liquids for long periods of time. ASUS standard limited warranty does not cover problems resulting from accidents such as water damage. To prevent water damage resulting from large spills or other accidents, ASUS recommends turning off the notebook, then tilting the laptop to drain away the excess liquid, wipe off and let it dry for at least 24 hours.
