About ATTO Disk Benchmark
The ATTO Disk Benchmark performance measurement tool is compatible with Microsoft Windows. Measure your storage systems performance with various transfer sizes and test lengths for reads and writes. Several options are available to customize your performance measurement including queue depth, overlapped I/O and even a comparison mode with the option to run continuously. Use ATTO Disk Benchmark to test any manufacturers RAID controllers, storage controllers, host adapters, hard drives and SSD drives and notice that ATTO products will consistently provide the highest level of performance to your storage.

Our next benchmark is the ATTO read and write tests. ATTO benchmarks have become a standard across APH Networks for testing all types of storage performance; from network attached storage to flash drives. This is mainly due to its accuracy and thorough testing with varying transfer sizes. As you can see from the graphs, the ADATA DashDrive Durable HD650 500GB's read and write performance differs by about three megabytes per second at maximum speed, topping at 116.711MB/s and 113.263MB/s, respectively. Regarding the curves, the HD650 reaches optimal performance around 32K and above, much like the Silicon Power Armor A30. Speaking of which, the Silicon Power Armor A30 once again flexes its marginally bigger muscles, with read and write speeds topping at 121.414MB/s and 119.57MB/s. While these gains may not be noticeable by consumers, there is still a difference, and these numbers mostly align with the results from AIDA64. Nonetheless, this performance is still respectable, considering it is just a 2.5" hard drive inside.
