PCMark 10 is the latest version of the popular full system benchmark from UL. The standard benchmark runs tests on three separate categories and assigns the scores for those categories along with an overall score. Interesting insights can be taken from this benchmarking software as the tests aim to emulate real-life conditions as best as possible. The Applications benchmark also provides an overall score in the end, but based off real-world applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Edge. This is a synthetic test that aims to emulate real-world conditions. Like with many of our tests up to this point, the results were on par with what I would expect for this test configuration.
