One thing I have learned over my life is that if there are still many things I do not understand, As such, when an area of ignorance is brought up in conversation, I like to do some research while also listening to others who are well-versed. I may not always agree with their perspectives, but I hope to build a well-rounded understanding before forming my own conclusions. However, there are some people that like to state and stand by their own opinion while still being "new" or in a state of learning themselves. I do not have an issue with people who make their opinions known, but my problem comes when they are clearly wrong or misunderstanding, yet they keep digging their heels in to make their point. Furthermore, if this conversation is in a larger group setting, I try to balance out correcting them with a bit of grace so it does not come across as an attack but rather a discussion. Unfortunately, I am not great at doing this because there are times, especially when my patience is being tested, that I just want to say "no". This is something that we reviewers also have to keep in mind when we look at new products, especially as our critiques are in a public setting. There is a balance to setting the record straight while not just dismissing a product because it has areas to improve upon. Today we have the Epomaker HE108. This company has been producing keyboards for a while, but how does this full-sized Hall effect keyboard perform? Is it a strong product, or will it test my patience during the review? Let us read on to find out!

Today's review unit of the Epomaker HE108 came to us from Epomaker's offices in Shenzhen, China. Traveling with eMile Express, this brown corrugated cardboard box is sealed in orange packing tape and arrived at our APH Networks location in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Along with the HE108, we received many more Epomaker keyboards, including the TH80 V2, TH80 V2 Pro, RT100 Pro, and Luma100. Otherwise, the box did have a few bumps and bruises but it was nothing to be too concerned about.

From the photo above, you can see how Epomaker has made all their retail packaging consistent in design, as we indeed have a very clean and standardized design. For our HE108, this uses a light blue box. The product name is on the left side with an outline of the keyboard on the right. A tagline of "Dual 8K Full Size Hall Effect Tri-mode Hot-swappable RGB Analog Keyboard". As well, there are several primary features shown for the HE108, including the Hall effect magnetic switches, the full size layout, the 8000Hz polling rate, the 0.005mm switch accuracy, and the use of PBT shine-through keycaps. We will explore all of these features as we continue our inspections. Around the back, there are more features and specifications for the Epomaker HE108.

Before we continue, I have grabbed the specifications from the manufacturer's website for your reading pleasure:
