Fractal Design Celsius S24 Review (Page 4 of 4)

Page 4 - Conclusion

Does the Fractal Design Celsius S24 change the definition of all-in-one liquid cooling? It does and it does not at the same time. It does not, since the cooler can be used as any other all-in-one liquid cooler on the market. But at the same time, it is in a sub-category of its own. The feature to be able to include a graphics card in the same loop is quite nice, and adds a good amount of flexibility for those who do not want to completely dedicate themselves to a custom water cooling build. This is probably the closest one can get to a do-it-yourself and store bought all-in-one water cooler. As for the rest of the build, it is good quality. Aluminum is used for the radiator, copper for the water block, and rubber for the tubes. All of it feels solid, and I could not find any imperfections. The rubber is also flexible enough to be easily configured, but also rigid enough to not feel like it is going to leak. The entire installation process was smooth, thanks to the basic mounting system and the extensive manual. The Fractal Design Celsius S24 performed well in testing. It was a bit hotter than the other coolers we compared it to, but it is working with less surface area. It makes the least amount of noise compared to the other coolers as well. What I really liked was the simple yet effective little feature to make cable management easier in the form of a small fan hub on the radiator. As for price, the MSRP is $110 USD. In my opinion, it is pretty reasonable considering what you get, although it is, by no means, a value product. It was cheaper than the other water coolers we benchmarked in this review though. With all things considered, the Fractal Design Celsius S24 is a solid choice, and it is an opportunity to perhaps step into some more intense water cooling options for those who want to in the future.
