This is where Intel's Core i5 integrated memory controller really shines over their previous implementation. The Core i5 provided brilliant results across the board, pretty much disregarding the Core 2 Extreme in every single run. In the Read benchmark, our Intel Core i5-750's score was 84.4% higher than the QX9650. The trend continues with the Write and Copy tests, where the Core i5-750 continued its momentum at 70.7% and 101.4% score over the Core 2 Extreme, respectively. Like AMD's integrated memory controller on the Athlon 64s back in the days, it unsurprisingly has lower memory latency as well, as shown in our result graphs above.
