Despite scoring negligibly lower than the Intel Core i5-750 in the SM2.0 and HDR/SM3.0 results after multiple consistent runs, the Core 2 Extreme QX9650 still managed to score a hair better than the i5-750 overall in 3DMark06. A quick glance at the results breakdown showed that 3DMark06 favored the QX9650 more in processor performance, giving it a +10% score compared to the i5-750. Overall, it boiled down to a very small 1.2% difference in the end.
