PCMark 7 is a favorite benchmarking program for PC enthusiasts and reviewers alike, because it provides a very easy way to measure performance of different computers. It evaluates a system from seven perspectives, and can be considered a synthetic real life benchmark. It is quite comprehensive, as it not only measures CPU and RAM performance, but also your hard disk drive for a complete computing experience. As you can see in our graphs above, the Intel Desktop Board DZ77GA-70K and Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H consistently traded spots, but still remained extremely close to each other, even though Gigabyte gives the CPU a slight overclock out of the box.
