About AIDA64 Engineer

AIDA64 Engineer has a hardware detection engine unrivaled in its class. It provides detailed information about installed software and offers diagnostic functions and support for overclocking. As it is monitoring sensors in real time, it can gather accurate voltage, temperature and fan speed readings, while its diagnostic functions help detect and prevent hardware issues. It also offers a couple of benchmarks for measuring the performance of individual hardware components or the whole system. It is compatible with all 32-bit and 64-bit Windows editions, including Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022.

As our USB flash drive review benchmark results are presented in alphabetical order, first up on the list is AIDA64 Engineer. Version 6.88.6400, the latest release at press time, can be downloaded from our Downloads page. Just to note, AIDA64 Engineer is a full synthetic benchmark. It does provide valuable insight into performance between different drives and different controllers even though it is not a representation of real-life performance, such as how fast you can install a Windows image from it. Delivering up to 162.6MB/s sequential read, 162.3MB/s random read, and 161.8MB/s buffered read, this is not the fastest drive that we have seen, but it does an adequate job. Its 0.15ms random access time was one of the best among all compared drives. So far, the performance of the Kingston IronKey Keypad 200 64GB is near the bottom of the pack in terms of performance, but of course this is not the primary purpose of this flash drive. The results found were still quite good especially when considering how hardware encryption takes up some of the flash drive's resources.
