Crystal Disk Mark 8.0 is in the spotlight. Just a bit of background information, higher capacity drives tend to perform a little better in these tests. The ability of a controller and flash memory to deliver high IOPS will provide huge benefits to the score as well. Looking at the read and write results of all four sections, the Kingston IronKey Keypad 200 64GB showed a decent level of performance compared to other USB flash drives. IOPS-demanding tests has always been a weak point for USB flash drives, but the Kingston IronKey Keypad 200 64GB held up quite decently. This performance was surprising as the read and write speeds were both adequate. When comparing the IronKey Keypad 200 64GB to the DataTraveler Vault Privacy 3.0 32GB, we notice how the Kingston was able to optimize write to achieve significantly greater speeds. From the above graphs, you will notice that there were points when the read speeds of the DataTraveler Vault Privacy 3.0 32GB did outperform the IronKey Keypad 200 64GB, but the IronKey Keypad 200 64GB still outputted formidable numbers.
