About ATTO Disk Benchmark

The ATTO Disk Benchmark performance measurement tool is compatible with Microsoft Windows. Measure your storage systems performance with various transfer sizes and test lengths for reads and writes. Several options are available to customize your performance measurement including queue depth, overlapped I/O and even a comparison mode with the option to run continuously. Use ATTO Disk Benchmark to test any manufacturers RAID controllers, storage controllers, host adapters, hard drives and SSD drives and notice that ATTO products will consistently provide the highest level of performance to your storage.

ATTO is our next benchmark, which uses easily compressible data, meaning compression-heavy controllers work well here. ATTO is an easy-to-use benchmark providing accurate benchmark results.

The Kingston XS1000 2TB did slightly better than the X9 Pro in the ATTO runs For its maximum write speed, it came in at 903MB/s compared to the 891MB/s of the X9 Pro. Throughout the smaller transfer sizes, the two different drives went back and forth beating one another for write speed. As for read speeds, the X9 Pro did slightly better, beating out the XS1000 by just over 10MB/s. The XS1000 performed well overall. As we saw with the other results, these were all still bested by USB 3.2 Gen2x2 drives, but this is to be expected.
