About AIDA64 Engineer

AIDA64 Engineer has a hardware detection engine unrivaled in its class. It provides detailed information about installed software and offers diagnostic functions and support for overclocking. As it is monitoring sensors in real time, it can gather accurate voltage, temperature and fan speed readings, while its diagnostic functions help detect and prevent hardware issues. It also offers a couple of benchmarks for measuring the performance of individual hardware components or the whole system. It is compatible with all 32-bit and 64-bit Windows editions, including Windows 10 and Windows Server 2019.

Since our flash memory review benchmark results are presented in alphabetical order, first up on the list are results from one of our favorite benchmarking programs, AIDA64 Engineer. Version 6.32.5600, the latest release at press time, can be downloaded from our Downloads page. Just to note, AIDA64 Engineer is a full synthetic benchmark. Unlike full synthetic motor oil, this usually does not always carry a good connotation. It does provide valuable insight into performance between different tested devices though. As you can see in our graphs above, the Lexar Professional 1066x SDXC UHS-I Silver 128GB absolutely dominated all other tested UHS-I SDXC cards. It scored consistently around the 156MB/s mark in the linear read segment. The tested latency was relatively low with an average of 0.29ms. The rest of the comparison results against all the other cards can be seen in our graphs above.
