About ATTO Disk Benchmark

The ATTO Disk Benchmark performance measurement tool is compatible with Microsoft Windows. Measure your storage systems performance with various transfer sizes and test lengths for reads and writes. Several options are available to customize your performance measurement including queue depth, overlapped I/O and even a comparison mode with the option to run continuously. Use ATTO Disk Benchmark to test any manufacturers RAID controllers, storage controllers, host adapters, hard drives and SSD drives and notice that ATTO products will consistently provide the highest level of performance to your storage.

Up next is our usual ATTO read and write tests. ATTO has been one of our longest lasting benchmarks over the time mainly due to its accuracy and thorough testing in accordance to varying transfer sizes. ATTO uses easily compressible data, so compression-heavy controllers will perform very well here. For the Lexar SL660 BLAZE 1TB, the results are generally also quite good. This includes peak write speeds of 1670MB/s and read speeds of 1890MB/s. Under the curve with smaller transfer sizes, it was in the middle of the pack for the write curve, matching the ADATA Elite SE880 1TB. It also traded blows with the Western Digital Black P50 1TB in the medium packet sizes before reaching the peak. From 4K and larger packet sizes, the SL660 BLAZE was in first or second place compared to the rest. Under the read curves, the SL660 BLAZE continued its strong showing. Up to 32K packets, this drive was firmly in the lead with discernible deltas ahead of the two USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Western Digital and ADATA options. From 64K onward, the SE880 1TB made up some ground and matched the SL660 BLAZE, while the P50 moved ahead to its peak speed. Once again, these are excellent results from this drive.
