SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro Review (Page 4 of 4)

Page 4 - Conclusion

After testing the SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro, I do indeed find them to be stylish. As for the product's features, the weight and design cause the earbuds to be very comfortable, while the case is compact and fits nicely in my pockets. The earbuds are securely clipped onto my ears and are very difficult to shake off. In terms of wireless functionality, I was able to get an incredible Bluetooth range of 100m line of sight. The earbuds also support dual device connection, which works very smoothly once connected. Touch commands are responsive, and work as expected. I tested the battery life to be 5.5 hours, which is very close to the rated 6 hours. The mic does a good job at noise cancelling, and the quality of the recorded audio is sufficient for calling. For the sound quality, the PearlClip Pro has good depth and width for soundstage and accurate imaging. In the treble range, the earbuds were able to produce crisp and bright sounds without causing them to be piercing. The midrange was full and saturated, but vocals sounded slightly muffled. Due to the physical limitation of the earbuds, as well as the tuning, the PearlClip Pro suffers greatly in the bass region. Sub-bass is almost non-existent, and kicks lack power. When the midrange gets crowded with instruments, the drivers become overwhelmed and merge the sound into one. The sound quality of the earbuds is also affected by the structure of the user's ears. Depending on how the driver part is angled towards the ear canal, the sound will change. At the current time of review, the PearlClip Pro can be bought for $60 on the manufacturer's website with the choices of black, white, beige, and purple. The SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro has quite a few areas of improvement, but it could be a budget option for those who like the style.
