Page 4 - Benchmark: ATTO Disk Benchmark
About ATTO Disk Benchmark
The ATTO Disk Benchmark performance measurement tool is compatible with Microsoft Windows. Measure your storage systems performance with various transfer sizes and test lengths for reads and writes. Several options are available to customize your performance measurement including queue depth, overlapped I/O and even a comparison mode with the option to run continuously. Use ATTO Disk Benchmark to test any manufacturers RAID controllers, storage controllers, host adapters, hard drives and SSD drives and notice that ATTO products will consistently provide the highest level of performance to your storage.

Following up next is our usual ATTO read and write tests. ATTO is an often quoted benchmark because it is easy to use and accurate. For the most part, it is a favorite among reviewers, and I've grown to embrace it as much as the next for the last little while. As you can see in the results above, the write and read speeds peaked at approximately 120MB/s and 210MB/s, respectively. As with what we have seen on the previous page, these figures are rather disappointing as well. Theoretically, it should be physically capable for the SYBA HyperDuo to handle up to 4Gb/s in single drive configuration. At the very least, I was expecting it to perform better than the Intel native 3Gb/s ports, but it seems we are not even there yet.
