Crystal Disk Mark 3.0 is in the spotlight. Just a bit of background information; usually with higher capacity drives, especially when put in RAID 0, it will pack quite the punch. Taking a look at the results, we can see that the SYBA HyperDuo is pretty consistent in its performance. All of the results from the first three tests show that the write and read scores are still mostly below Intel 3Gb/s supplied by the chipset. As a 6 Gb/s controller, I would have expected the results to be a little bit closer to the Intel SATA 6Gb/s ports, haha. Clearly, this is not the case from the tests. Having said that, I was slightly surprised to see that the results from the 4K QD32 test wer better than the 3 Gb/s results in the same benchmark. Again, do keep in mind that the SYBA HyperDuo is using one PCIe x1 slot only, and such results may decrease further with more drives connected.
