First up for benchmarking performance is AIDA64 Extreme Edition. Borrowing the OCZ Octane 512GB from the APH Networks lab, I put our HyperDuo to the tests. As you can see from the numbers above, the SYBA HyperDuo is actually doing not that well in terms of its performance while slotted into a PCIe x1 port on my motherboard -- most of the tests indicate that it is below Intel's native SATA 3Gb/s port. Do keep in mind that this is only a $25 SATA controller board addition to your computer, and personally, I did not expect groundbreaking results from it. However, this is a full synthetic test, so let's see how this controller holds up as we move on.
