Page 4 - Conclusion
Three letters may separate the 1MORE ComfoBuds Pro True Wireless from the initial ComfoBuds, but it is quite clear there are notable differences and feature additions to make it a step up in multiple areas. First of all, the Pro version offers a slightly nicer finish with its matte surface to prevent surface stains. Its larger body in both the earphones and the charging case result in a longer battery life while still being light, comfortable, and portable enough to pocket and go. It does keep the same wireless capabilities with excellent range and fast pairing capabilities. Furthermore, I appreciated the day-to-day improvements over the ComfoBuds, including its consistent automatic play-pause and improved touch interface. Its active noise cancellation is also pretty good at removing lower continuous noises. However, I think the primary improvements come in the audio department with a more enjoyable sound due to a more prominent bass and better detailing than its non-Pro relative. There are still some deficiencies, including a slightly narrow soundstage and some darkness in the trebles. Other things that were a bit unfortunate to see was the reduced water resistance and lacking Qualcomm's aptX codec support. There are no wireless charging capabilities for the case either. Finally, I would still like to see equalizer settings in the 1MORE MUSIC app. At the time of this review, the 1MORE ComfoBuds Pro True Wireless start at $95 USD. This is a bit more than the first ComfoBuds we reviewed, but the improvements we have make the price increase justified. As such, the 1MORE ComfoBuds Pro True Wireless are a good contender for a pair of comfortable true wireless earphones with active noise cancellation and greater endurance to last.
