Asus EN8800GT (NVIDIA 8800GT) TOP 512MB Review (Page 4 of 10)

Page 4 - Benchmark: FEAR

In our FEAR timedemo, results were pretty consistent. As usual, all settings were set to maximum and the only manipulated variables were AA and AF. 1680x1050 widescreen resolution is used to put more emphasis on the graphics card and less on the rest of the system. Soft Shadows were turned on; which is one of the more video card taxing settings in this game. Throughout the tests, we can see that the results are pretty consistent -- the Asus 8800GT was quite slightly better than the reference 8800GTS 320MB throughout the tests; and roughly twice as fast throughout compared to the reference ATI Radeon X1950 Pro.
