What's a video card without the ever-popular Half-Life 2? In our case, we've actually used Half-Life 2: Lost Coast, as usual, as part of our set of benchmarks -- based off the Source engine, Half-Life 2: Lost Coast is the developer's demonstration of HDR implementation as well as complex facial texture rendering. With all settings turned to high and using AA/AF as the only manipulated variables once more, the results speak for itself -- the Asus 8800GT TOP is miles ahead of the compared reference 8800GTS 320MB. The gap only widens when AA and AF settings are set higher.
