Page 10 - Benchmark: Metro 2033
Metro 2033 is another favorite benchmark for reviewers, because once you turn the settings up, this game can easily murder any graphics card your system has. Released on March 16, 2010 and running off the 4A Engine, this DirectX 11 game is perfectly playable with more than acceptable graphics at less than maximum settings. For the purpose of benchmarking, our custom test involves a run through the Bridge level, and we obtained three different sets of data, as posted above. The first one was on 'Normal' details on AAA/4xAF. Despite hovering around the 30fps mark, the game was smooth enough for the most part; but once you max out the details to 'Very High', frame rates dropped significantly. Want to try everything maxed out? Sure thing. You will just end up with 3 fps. No big deal.
