A similar pattern can be seen for the Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate G2 32GB in our Crystal Disk Mark results. When it boils down to 512K write, and any of the results after that point, it seems that the Ultimate G2 has the upper hand over the supposedly quicker Supersonic Magnum. Surprisingly, the OCZ Rally2 Turbo was very competitive in the 4K and 4K QD32 read/write benchmarks. One thing to note here is that during the 512K write, the Ultimate G2 seems to have fallen behind a bit compared to the Rally2 Turbo, and I had the expectation of USB 3.0 devices performing better than previous generations. This was also evident in the Supersonic Magnum. I would assume that in future enhancements to USB 3.0 flash drives, the performance for small file I/O performance should improve.
