About AIDA64 Engineer

AIDA64 Engineer has a hardware detection engine unrivaled in its class. It provides detailed information about installed software and offers diagnostic functions and support for overclocking. As it is monitoring sensors in real time, it can gather accurate voltage, temperature and fan speed readings, while its diagnostic functions help detect and prevent hardware issues. It also offers a couple of benchmarks for measuring the performance of individual hardware components or the whole system. It is compatible with all 32-bit and 64-bit Windows editions, including Windows 10 and Windows Server 2019.

Our first test is AIDA64 Engineer, which is one of my favorite suites of tests. We have used this application for all types of storage devices, such as SSDs, HDDs, and flash drives. As you saw from the retail box, Patriot quoted up to a blazing 420MB/s read. However, with a linear read speed of around 433MB/s, this Supersonic Rage Pro blew everything else out of the water. This is nearly a 50MB/s increase on its predecessor, the Rage 2. With a random read result of 431.8MB/s and buffered read of 284.2MB/s, this was among the fastest USB drives we have seen. I did find the buffered result a bit lower than expected, but this was still quite fast. Finally, the recorded access time from AIDA64 was 0.16ms, which was the quickest result.
