About Crystal Disk Mark

- Measure Sequential and Random Performance (Read/Write/Mix)
- Peak/Real World Performance Profile

From: Developer's Page

Crystal Disk Mark is our third test and today we are using version 8.0. For some background information, higher capacity devices tend to perform a little better in these tests. The ability of a controller and flash memory to deliver high IOPS will provide huge benefits to the score as well. With this in mind, if you see all four of the sections, the Patriot Supersonic Rage Pro 512GB absolutely demolished its competition, especially in the write speeds. In fact, in every test, its write performance was better than everyone else's read performance. The read performance was also quite excellent, although it was not necessarily the fastest sequential read drive here. However, in the RND4K Q32T1 and RND4K Q1T1 tests, it dominated everyone else. This is excellent, again showing how much faster this USB flash drive is in comparison to other drives that were speedy in their own regard.
