Through Crystal Disk Mark, we can see the results for the Silicon Power Marvel M70 64GB is pretty darn good, especially for its price. In fact, the speed of this flash drive is pretty close to the Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate G3, and a good chunk faster than the Patriot Supersonic Rage XT. Let us get more in depth by starting with the Sequential part first. We can see here it was significantly faster than the Rage XT, especially when it comes to write. Moving on to 512K, the Patriot was slightly faster in read, but the Silicon Power took it back on the write portion. Next is the 4K, here we see that it is slightly slower at 6.115 MB/s, but exceeded the Kingston DataTraveler HyperX at 0.199 MB/s. Finally, 4K QD32, in terms of write, it completely blew away the Rage XT with a score of 0.169 MB/s. Its read speed of 5.87 MB/s was not as good as the Rage XT, but it was acceptable nonetheless. Enough with Crystal Disk Mark, let’s move onto our next benchmark, HD Tach.
