About ATTO Disk Benchmark

The ATTO Disk Benchmark performance measurement tool is compatible with Microsoft Windows. Measure your storage systems performance with various transfer sizes and test lengths for reads and writes. Several options are available to customize your performance measurement including queue depth, overlapped I/O and even a comparison mode with the option to run continuously. Use ATTO Disk Benchmark to test any manufacturers RAID controllers, storage controllers, host adapters, hard drives and SSD drives and notice that ATTO products will consistently provide the highest level of performance to your storage.

This next program we used to test the Silicon Power Marvel M70 64GB has been one of APH Networks' favorites, ATTO, since it provids us with accurate and thorough results with varying transfer sizes. As you see clearly in the read graph, there is a big separation between the USB 2.0 and the USB 3.0 devices. Fortunately, the M70 is with the other USB 3.0 flash drives, or else it would have been a big problem, haha. For M70’s write speed, it peaked at 57.8 MB/s, while the Rage XT came in at 45.4MB/s. It is also quite a bit ahead of the Patriot Stellar 64GB; a compact OTG device with the same data storage capacity, which had a peak write speed of 30.78 MB/s. For the M70’s read speed, we can see it peaked at 181.18 MB/s, which, again, is very close to the Rage XT's 182.6MB/s figure. Now that we have compared the read and write speeds, let us move onto our next test, Crystal Disk Mark, which also tests the I/O per second performance in addition to sequential read and write speed.
