About AIDA64 Engineer

AIDA64 Engineer has a hardware detection engine unrivaled in its class. It provides detailed information about installed software and offers diagnostic functions and support for overclocking. As it is monitoring sensors in real time, it can gather accurate voltage, temperature and fan speed readings, while its diagnostic functions help detect and prevent hardware issues. It also offers a couple of benchmarks for measuring the performance of individual hardware components or the whole system. It is compatible with all 32-bit and 64-bit Windows editions, including Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2.

The first benchmark test we are going to run is the AIDA64 Engineer. As you can see, the results that were obtained from the Silicon Power Mobile X31 32GB are in close resemblance of the Silicon Power Jewel J80 32GB. The data from the random read shows 128MB/s and 129MB/s for the Mobile X31 and Jewel J80, respectively. Moving on, the buffered read shows 115.3MB/s and 115.9MB/s again for the Mobile X31 and the Jewel J80, respectively. Lastly, looking at and comparing the access time for both of the drives shows the Mobile X31 is faster by 0.01ms. This suggests that the two USB 3.0 drives have similar, if not identical, internal components. However, the Mobile X31 falls behind in comparison to drives like the Patriot Stellar 64GB, another USB 3.0 OTG drive.
