About HD Tune Pro 4.60

HD Tune is a hard disk utility with many functions. It can be used to measure the drive's performance, scan for errors, check the health status (S.M.A.R.T.), securely erase all data and much more.

The last test that we did was HD Tune Pro. Looking at the graph, it followed a similar flat-line trend as we saw in the last test. The only differences will be the magnitude, and this comes as a result of different algorithms between the two test benchmarks. The average read speed of 102.7MB/s and burst rate of 79.9MB/s was again a hair slower than the Silicon Power Jewel J80 32GB flash drive. The only other thing to note is the latency speed. From AIDA64, we had an access time of 0.34ms. HD Tach and HD Tune produced similar results of 0.4ms and 0.367ms, respectively. The higher HD Tach result is probably due to the imprecision and rounding of the numbers rather than an actual different result. Otherwise, the results speak for themselves.
