About Crystal Disk Mark
- Measure sequential reads/writes speed
- Measure random 512KB, 4KB, 4KB (Queue Depth=32) reads/writes speed
- Select test data (Random, 0Fill, 1Fill)

I may sound like a broken record at this point, but the results we obtain from the Crystal Disk Mark 3.0 reminds us of the similarities between the Silicon Power Jewel J80 32GB and the Silicon Power Mobile X31 32GB we are currently testing. The sequential write and read speeds are 23.79MB/s and 121.1MB/s respectively. This is quite comparable to the Jewel J80 32GB, but considerably slower than the Patriot Stellar 64GB. With regards to the 512K test, things become more comparable. However, the 4K and 4K QD32 showed completely different results. The 4K write speed was not surprising, but the 4K read speed was the highest across the board. Lastly, the 4K QD32 read test showed the Mobile X31 came second only to the Jewel J80 at a read speed of 12.98MB/s. The results are surprising, due to the first two tests within Crystal Disk Mark 3.0 showing nothing more than what we would expect for a drive of this size. The last two tests, on the other hand, showed superb read performance compared to the rest of the USB 3.0 flash drives.
