Yeyian Links 3000 Review (Page 4 of 4)

Page 4 - Conclusion

After putting the Yeyian Links 3000 through the tests, I find it to be quite an interesting mouse. The mouse is symmetrical in design, allowing easy use for both hands, although it is not explicitly declared as an ambidextrous mouse. The Links 3000 has a braided cable, having better usability than a regular cable. The build quality is good with a body that does not feel hollow. A high point for the mouse is the switches being manufactured by Huano, which feels responsive and have a 10 million click rating. Inside, we find the PixArt 3212DM sensor. As an entry-level sensor with numbers on the lower end, it performed decently for some games in this price point. In my testing, I found the mouse to spin out in first person shooters, which is unacceptable in 2022. Aside from the spinning out issues, I found the Links 3000 to be decently smooth and accurate. This choice of sensor makes sense, as this is more of a budget product, but alternatives would be better for gaming. Some changes to improve the Links 3000 would be to add rubber grips and to swap the sensor to one that does not spin out in first person shooters. Its 75g weight was also higher than anticipated, as we have seen mice without a honeycomb shell to weigh less. At a price point of about $23 USD, this is an extremely affordable option. If I were in the market for a cheap gaming mouse, the Yeyian Links 3000 can be used if I did not play any first person shooters. If you are looking for an entry level gaming mouse with a very limited budget and play a very select choice of games, the Yeyian Links 3000 is an option, but you also can get the DeepCool MC310 at around the same price or Corsair Katar PRO XT for only a few more bucks at press time, which are both much better choices in my opinion.

The Yeyian Links 3000 is an incredibly cheap gaming mouse, but watch out for it spinning out in first person shooter titles.
