About ATTO Disk Benchmark
The ATTO Disk Benchmark performance measurement tool is compatible with Microsoft Windows. Measure your storage systems performance with various transfer sizes and test lengths for reads and writes. Several options are available to customize your performance measurement including queue depth, overlapped I/O and even a comparison mode with the option to run continuously. Use ATTO Disk Benchmark to test any manufacturers RAID controllers, storage controllers, host adapters, hard drives and SSD drives and notice that ATTO products will consistently provide the highest level of performance to your storage.

Following up next is our usual ATTO read and write tests. ATTO is one of my favorite benchmarks for quite a while. Ever since we have started using it in my network attached storage reviews a few years ago, it has been integral to our battery of storage performance evaluations here at APH Networks mainly due to its accuracy and thorough testing in accordance to varying transfer sizes. As you can see in our graphs above, the LaCie Mobile SSD 500GB's read performance and write performance were both extremely fast; peaking at 569.792MB/s for read and 531.555MB/s for write. Under the curve, the LaCie Mobile SSD 500GB reached maximum performance for everything 64K and above. Both its ramp up speed and peak speed was, once again, considerably faster than any USB flash drive as demonstrated in the posted comparison charts.
