About AIDA64 Engineer

AIDA64 Engineer has a hardware detection engine unrivaled in its class. It provides detailed information about installed software and offers diagnostic functions and support for overclocking. As it is monitoring sensors in real time, it can gather accurate voltage, temperature and fan speed readings, while its diagnostic functions help detect and prevent hardware issues. It also offers a couple of benchmarks for measuring the performance of individual hardware components or the whole system. It is compatible with all 32-bit and 64-bit Windows editions, including Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016.

As always, our first set of benchmark results presented on the table are data obtained using AIDA64 CPU tests. Version 5.97.4600 (The latest release at press time; which can be downloaded from our Downloads page) results are comparable to recent previous releases. It was quite interesting how the products compared, because we had a varying combination of speed, capacity, and latencies. As far as how their performance went, all of them were close to each other in most tests, with the Patriot Viper LED PC4-24000 2x8GB sitting at where we expected it to be in relative to the compared kits. AIDA64 did not gain much from stepping up your memory speed, with the exception of the PhotoWorxx results -- where the 2x16GB kit from G.Skill had the biggest gain despite having the lowest memory bandwidth, as you can see in our graphs above. To date, I still cannot explain why it did so well in that test.
