AIDA64 Engineer is a streamlined Windows diagnostic and benchmarking software for engineers. AIDA64 Engineer provides a wide range of features to assist in overclocking, hardware error diagnosis, stress testing, and sensor monitoring. It has unique capabilities to assess the performance of the processor, system memory, and disk drives. AIDA64 is compatible with all current 32-bit and 64-bit Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows 8.1 Update 1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 Update 1.

It probably does not come as a surprise to you that using identical memory modules configured in the exact same way produces nearly identical results in our AIDA64 Memory benchmarks. As the memory controller is integrated on the processor, the motherboard sits aside and chill, the CPU does the hard work -- so we are happy to see all our results are quite consistent across the board. Operating at DDR3-2133, our Kingston HyperX Beast KHX21C11T3K2/16X 2x8GB dual channel kit delivered no appreciable gain regardless of the processor frequency. The detailed results are displayed in our benchmark result graphs above for the Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK in both configurations.
