GRID 2 is a very popular game for benchmarking. It is developed by Codemasters, and runs off the EGO 3.0 game engine. GRID 2 is definitely a welcomed departure from using first person shooters for testing; this is the only racing game in our standard battery of benchmarks. Released on May 27, 2013, GRID 2 has an excellent custom benchmarking function that actually reflects real life performance quite well, so we decided to give it a shot to obtain our standardized results.
